Welcome to The Emerald! Seattle’s newly renovated home for dance and yoga

New floors, new paint, new yoga teachers!

We’re thrilled to announce the Grand Opening of The Emerald! This is the new name of  our beautifully restored dance and event space formerly known as West Hall. The Emerald opened its doors Monday, June 9th. By day, this radiant venue serves as the vibrant new home for Reverie Yoga, launching with a full schedule of vinyasa classes that will run hourly from 7:00am to 4:30pm, six days a week, with a special meditation class each Sunday.

Whether you are brand new to yoga or deepening an established practice, you will find guidance and community here. Be sure to follow @ReverieYogaSeattle for our full schedule, teacher announcements, and more.

New yoga classes during the day!

With this exciting new beginning, we’ll also be closing The Grand Ballroom for renovations that will carry us through the summer. All social dances and series classes will continue uninterrupted in The Emerald.

Another item worthy of note regarding the move to the Emerald. You may have heard that the Tin Table closed in May. It will be reopening soon under the ownership of beloved bartender Sander Raav. Until then, all social dances and events in the Emerald will be all ages, there will be no bar service. If you love a cocktail before you hit the dance floor, we highly recommend our neighbors at Queer Bar and Poquitos.

Curious about what’s happening to nostalgic features like the boards of the dance floor? (Hint: they may make an artful return!) Stay tuned as we document this transformation on social media, here on our blog, and through our bi-weekly newsletter. From the colors of the carpet to the art on the walls, we are so excited to share this extensive process with you.

The carpets have been removed in the balcony of The Grand, revealing 100+ years of dance history in Seattle.

Thank you for being part of our vibrant and ever-evolving community. We can’t wait to dance, stretch, breathe, and grow with you this summer in The Emerald.

Stage one of the extensive process of restoring “West Hall” into “The Emerald”. Keep in mind, our lease began on April 1st, 2025!

Our intrepid and genius Project Manager, Linda amidst the restoration of The Emerald.
